Hey guys! So I thought about the bookstagram community and how I’ve made so many wonderful friends and how so many of them are QUEENS/KINGS of photography (If superpowers are real it’s their photography skills) and just there are SO many talented people in this community. So I decided that I want to share that with you guys!

Every week I’m going to be sharing 10 amazing bookstagrammers and it’s going to be lit.

Just keep in mind that these are not in order of favouritism. I love all of these accounts, hence the reason they’re on here.  So let’s get into it!

Last post of the day! I love to talk about annotating books, but this time I want to know why you might not annotate. I'm curious. I sometimes don't annotate because I don’t have time, but I also find a lot of books that simply have nothing to annotate. They either lack good quotes or are not thought-provoking. But usually it's about the time 😂 • • • • • • • • • • • • • • • [ #therosesociety #marielu #annotating #instareads #instabook #booknerds #reader #bookphotography #reading ] #book #bookworm #bookworms #booklove #booklover #bookaddict #bibliophile #books #bookshelf #bookstagram #bookstagrammer #bookstagrammers #yabooks #booknerd #bookaddict #photography #bookish #bookstagramfeature #allyfeaturesbooks #violetfeatures #bookstagramcontest

I didn’t know who the Western Wonder Woman was until I got to Canada, and I absolutely adore her. However, though she is someone I look up to, the Indian version of Wonder Woman who is my heroine and who I aspire to be is Rani Lakshmibai. She’s a badass Indian queen who died in battle amongst her troops against the British only hours after giving birth. She is, has, and always will be my Wonder Woman. Women are fighting back now more than ever against misogynistic rhetorics and I could not be more lucky to be a part of the generation that takes a stand and fights back against the patriarchy that has ruled our societies from third-world to first-world countries for hundreds of years, and watching readers buy more books/read more books by women or featuring strong, 3 Dimensional women, or such, is an absolutely wonderful thing. 👉🏽If you come from another culture which features a badass woman like Diana, tell me about her! 👉🏽Have you read Wonder Woman by Leigh Bardugo yet? What were your thoughts on it, if you have?

"Crows remember human faces. They remember the people who feed them, who are kind to them. And the people who wrong them too. They don’t forget. They tell each other who to look after and who to watch out for." — Leigh Bardugo, Crooked Kingdom • Hello, my fellow bookworms! ✨ What are some of your favourite quotes from books you've read? I feel like certain words or phrases in books are magical. They can invoke feelings of joy, sadness or even laugher. It really is true when they say that words have the power to change us. Six of Crows and Crooked Kingdom definitely have a lot of these phrases that I love. In other news, school has been going quite well for me! I'm going to be a bit busier now that it's started but I'll still try and post as much as I can! 💕 But, I also posted my Crooked Kingdom review yesterday which you can view by clicking the link in my bio!
